I participated and presented my research at 5th International CVRDC-RIMD joint symposium, which held in Jeju Island, Korea. This symposium was organized by Clinical Vaccine R&D center (CVRDC), Chonnam National University, Korea and Research Institute for Microbial Diseases (RIMD), Osaka University, Japan.

I found this symposium was wonderful opportunity for me to present and share my research in front of accomplished scientists and professionals from the field of immunology and infectious diseases. The symposium was divided into four sessions: Immune response, Infection and Vaccine, Microbial pathogenesis and Immunotherapy. In these sessions, young scientists and researchers have presented their work and it was great opportunity for graduate student like me to listen and learn how to express your ideas and thoughts.  During this session, young researchers had chance to discuss their research and ideas with chairman, scientists, professors and medical doctors. Apart from these sessions, there was a special session presented by esteemed professors Hueng-Sik Choi and Joon Haeng Rhee from Chonnam National University. It was a great honor to listen their talk about leading topics in the field of immunology and medicine. Moreover, professors shared their great experiences and important aspects of research life. In between these sessions, we had nice and fruitful discussion about goals and perspectives of research in poster session. I enjoyed the symposium tremendously and feel so humbled by all the incredible people I met.

Apart from significant discussions about research, we had great time while traveling and visit to famous places in Jeju. Moreover, food and hospitality was fantastic. I truly believe that, symposium was highly enthusiastic and valuable.

I would like to reiterate my thanks to organizers and committee members for giving me a chance to attend this valuable meeting. Hope to attend the symposium like this in the future.
